Board the coach at your pick-up point, and travel to Dover to cross the Channel and continue to your en route overnight hotel.

Following breakfast, re-board the coach and continue your journey to Linz, where you'll board Olympia. Enjoy a first meal aboard, and perhaps step ashore to enjoy the atmosphere of this cosmopolitan home of the famous Linzertorte, before Olympia slips away downstream overnight.

Olympia arrives in Melk, beneath Austria's most celebrated Benedictine Abbey, Stift Melk. Join our optional excursion here and explore the vast church, ornate Baroque interior, Imperial rooms and museum. This afternoon, Olympia heads into the stunning Wachau valley, before mooring close to Vienna.

Board the coach, this morning, for the short transfer into central Vienna. Discover the city of 'coffee and cake' - whose greatest glory is the wonderful Hofburg Palace - on our optional guided tour.
This afternoon, another optional excursion brings the opportunity to visit the Schonbrunn Palace, the Imperial summer home, where the opulent salons once echoed with performances by the young Mozart.

Be on deck, this afternoon, to experience Olympia's unforgettable arrival in Budapest. Our optional guided tour of the 'Pearl of the Danube' is the ideal introduction to this city of two parts - Buda with its colourful Castle Hill, and Pest with its Gothic parliament buildings and its old town's designer stores and coffee houses.

Discover the Slovakian capital, Bratislava, on this morning's optional walking tour. You'll see Gothic St Martin's Cathedral, splendid Baroque palaces and the city's ancient suspension bridge, before Olympia continues upstream this afternoon, cruising back into Austria.

Olympia's next call is at the delightful Wachau Valley town of Durnstein, in the castle above which Richard the Lionheart was once imprisoned. Soak up the town's beauty on a leisurely stroll, then re-board the ship for a final cruise back through the Wachau's exquisite scenery.

Olympia returns to Linz today. Explore this modern city and its contrastingly quaint old town, or choose to join our optional excursion to Salzburg, famed birthplace of Mozart.
This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner in the company of the captain and your fellow passengers, bringing the chance to share memories of a wonderful cruise.

Bid 'auf wiedersehen' to Olympia and her crew, and begin the return journey to the UK, stopping for an overnight stay en route.

Further Information
Joining your holiday
Your final travel documents, including the exact time and place of departure, will be sent to you approximately 10 days prior to departure, providing all payments have been made. We are unable to give exact departure times before this.
Meal arrangements
Where meals are not included, your coach driver will ensure there are suitable stops made for you to purchase and enjoy lunch and/or dinner each day.
Special requirements
If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.
Pre-paid drinks package
Spend just GBP19.50 per person per night, and enjoy unlimited draught beer, house wine and soft drinks (including water, tea and coffee) between 10am and midnight while on board Olympia. All other drinks are not included. The drinks package must be purchased by every person occupying a particular cabin.
Disabled access
The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
Luggage
Where possible, non-rigid suitcases are easier to store within your cabin.
Drinking water
The tap water on board is safe to drink, but may not be to your taste due to the purification system.
Itinerary changes
On rare occasions, the Captain may need to alter the Cruise Itinerary. If this happens, the Cruise Manager will keep passengers informed.
Cabin sizes
The majority of cabins on board are 10.5m square. Single cabins are approximately 7.7m square. (These measurements include the bathroom.) Standard Promenade cabins are 15m square and most have double beds (which do not convert to sofas), but they do not have a table or stool and will by subject to engine noise during overnight and early morning sailing.
Dress code
The dress code on board and ashore is casual. After 7pm, in the lounge and restaurant, shorts are not permitted, and footwear and a shirt or T-shirt must be worn.
Tipping
Tipping is not compulsory, but from experience we know that many passengers like to leave gratuities for the crew. An envelope will be left in your cabin for this purpose.
Optional shore excursions
Optional excursions are available on all cruises, and we recommend that you book now to secure your place. If the number of bookings needed to operate any excursion is not reached, the excursion may be cancelled. In this case your payment will be refunded in full.
