Day 1 - Southampton - England

Lying near the head of Southampton Water, a peninsula between the estuaries of the Rivers Test and Itchen, Southampton is Britain’s largest cruise port. It has been one of England’s major ports since the Middle Ages, when it exported wool and hides from the hinterland and imported wine from Bordeaux. The city suffered heavy damage during World War Two and as a result the centre has been extensively rebuilt, but there are still some interesting medieval buildings including the Bargate, one of the finest city gatehouses in England.

Day 2 - Cruising

Day 3 - Rotterdam - Netherlands

Rotterdam is a city that's a long way removed from most people's stereotypical notion of the Netherlands. There are few, if any, canals to be found here nor are there any quaint windmills. There is, however, a thriving modern city which is one of the busiest ports in the entire world.

Day 4 - Zeebrugge - Belgium

In 1895 work began to construct a new seaport and harbour next to the tiny village of Zeebrugge, situated on the North Sea coast. Today the fast-expanding port of Zeebrugge is one of the busiest in Europe and its marina is Belgium’s most important fishing port. Many attempts were made to destroy this important port during both World Wars. Zeebrugge is ideally located for discovering the historic city of Bruges, and delightful seaside resorts with long sandy beaches can be visited by using the trams that run the whole length of the Belgian coast. Please note that no food may be taken ashore in Belgium. We shall not be offering shuttle buses to Bruges, but you may visit the city on an optional excursion: those visiting Bruges should note that there may be quite a long walk from the coach to the town centre.

Queen Victoria maintains Cunard's proud culinary traditions, with three main restaurants and the elegant new Verandah Restaurant. All offering delicious menus created by Cunard’s Global Culinary Ambassador, Jean-Marie Zimmermann.

There's also a host of alternative dining options from the relaxed Lido Buffet and Golden Lion Pub, through to a variety of tempting global cuisines.

In the beautifully appointed Queens Grill you can savour the ultimate in dining sophistication.

As a guest in our Queens Grill suites you’ll enjoy a remarkable dining experience. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner you’ll savour flawless service and impeccably prepared dishes ranging from exquisite contemporary creations to Cunard Classics. Enjoy the daily menu or go A La Carte, you choose. This evening you may relish a Terrine of Kentish Goats Cheese or Devon Crab Cannelloni, followed by Wild Atlantic Turbot or Onley Grounds Chateaubriand, rounded off with Grand Marnier Souffle.

As a guest in our Princess Grill suites you may choose to join us in the elegant Princess Grill for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Whatever the occasion you’ll always feel special with personal and intuitive service. Join us for dinner anytime from 6.30 to 9.00, whenever suits you best.

Choose from dishes such as Goats Cheese Souffle or Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare to start, perhaps followed by Rack of Dartmoor Lamb or Pan Roasted Halibut, all rounded off with a delicious Chocolate Pecan Terrine.

Our main restaurant invites you to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner with a real sense of occasion.

Dining is a highlight of each Cunard voyage and the Britannia Restaurant ensures that it's unforgettable, especially on Gala Evenings. Experience a stylish and vibrant atmosphere and be tempted by freshly prepared dishes which range from twists on traditional favourites to contemporary selections. If you decide to join us here for breakfast or lunch you’ll find it traditional and relaxed, whereas at dinner this glamorous venue really sparkles.

Britannia Club guests will appreciate the more intimate surroundings of this stylish restaurant.

As you’d expect, menus change daily and in addition to the full selection from the Britannia restaurant you can savour a range of enhancements for an extraordinary dining experience.

Guests can now choose to reserve a table at any time of the evening alongside the more traditional early and late seating options.

The Verandah is Queen Victoria's formal alternative dining venue and is your invitation to savour contemporary French cuisine that uses traditional ingredients sourced directly from France.

Should you prefer a club sandwich or a light bite in the afternoon head for the Lido restaurant where buffet dining is available throughout the day. By evening it transforms into one of Cunard's regional venues: Asado is a South American Grill; Jasmine serves up exquisite Asian cuisine; while Aztec tempts you with interpretations of Mexican classics.

The Golden Lion is an authentic British pub with a great selection of beer and cider. This is complemented by a traditional pub lunch menu with favourites such as cottage pie and fish and chips

You can devote an indulgent hour each and every day to our signature Afternoon Tea.

If anything perfectly encapsulates Cunard’s service and sense of occasion, it is our prized daily ritual: Afternoon Tea, served by white-gloved waiters from 3.30 to 4.30pm every day in the Queens Room. Indulgent finger sandwiches, scones and pastries accompany Twinings fine leaf teas, as the orchestra provides a melodic backdrop. Our Grills guests may also retreat to the more intimate Princess Grill restaurant, while a more casual interpretation awaits in the Lido or King’s Court.

Watercolour classes are available on all cruises that have full sea days.

You know you’re on a special ship indeed when you can settle into your comfortable seat in the largest planetarium at sea. More than this, Illuminations is a luxury 3D cinema and a classical music venue. The planetarium dome can send you on an epic voyage across the solar system, teach you to navigate by the stars, or show other science and natural history films, with up to four screenings on each sea day. With the dome retracted, Illuminations hosts 3D films and stunning concerts and recitals.

From comfortable inside staterooms, to a lavish Queens Grill Duplex, complete with expansive balcony and private butler service - Queen Victoria provides something to suit every taste and budget.

Queen Grill Suites - All grades of Queens Grill and Princess Grill suites received an interior refresh during Queen Victoria’s refit, to maximise space while ensuring unsurpassed levels of elegance and comfort. In the Grand Suites, a clever configuration of furniture maximise the comfort and spacious appeal of this accommodation, creating an even more desirable sanctuary or space to entertain.

Britannia Club - The introduction of 43 new Britannia Club staterooms in prime locations on decks seven and eight feature all the hallmarks of Cunard style and comfort. Britannia Club is enhanced with premium balconies, a nine-pillow concierge menu and the freedom to dine whenever you choose between 6.30pm and 9.00pm in the new Britannia Club restaurant. This restaurant is located on deck two.

Britannia Staterooms - All Britannia staterooms feature newly designed carpets and soft furnishings, taking inspiration from Cunard’s heritage and bold colour palettes. For extra comfort, tea and coffee making facilities and new flat screen HD televisions are available in all staterooms.
